Planning Commission Public Hearing

 

The River Heights City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 7:05 p.m. to discuss a conditional use permit request from Darlin Russell to have a body art facility at her residence, located at 698 E 716 S, River Heights.  The hearing will be held at the City Building, located at 520 S 500 E.  Written comment can be addressed to Commissioner Mark Malmstrom and will be accepted up until noon on the date of the meeting.

Recent Code Changes

On March 22, 2016 the City Council adopted a few minor changes to the City Code and also added a Solar Energy section.  The changes can be viewed here.

River Heights Easter Egg Hunt

The Lions Club annual Easter Egg  Hunt is planned for River Heights City children (and grandchildren) on Saturday, March 26 at 9:00am.  at the Old Church (500 East 500 South).  Happy Easter!!

Emergency Preparedness Training

Everything you need to know about WATER STORAGE, TREATMENT, PURIFYING AND FILTRATION 

March 31, 2016, 7:00 p.m.,  at the River Heights City Building.  All River Height City Residents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Max Gyllenskog is a Water Quality Scientist at Aquamira Technologies in Logan.  He will be demonstrating ways to safely store and purify water for use during water emergencies or disasters.  He will have examples of current purification methods and devices for home use which are available locally and used worldwide.  He will answer your questions and help you be better prepared and more comfortable storing and treating water for emergency use.

The River Heights City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 7:05 p.m. to discuss a few minor changes and the addition of a solar energy ordinance to the River Heights City Code.  The hearing will be held in the River Heights City Building, located at 520 S 500 E.  Written comment can be addressed to Commissioner Mark Malmstrom and will be accepted up until 2:30 on the date of the meeting.
