Bear River Celebration and Free Fishing Day

Fun family activities, free fishing, and fun are the highlights of the award winning 16th annual Bear River Celebration and Free Fishing Day. On Saturday June 10, 2017 children and teens (along with their families) are invited to Logan’s Willow Park West Skylar Pond (500 W 700 S in Logan) from 10 am to 2 pm to learn about water, conservation, water quality, wildlife, recycling, and the Bear River Watershed.  Enjoy free fishing, educational booths, and activities such as fly tying, fish printing, face painting, and other hands on activities.  Kids can check out fishing poles and try to “catch the big one” for free and without a license.  Water bottles will be given out to the first 300 youth who complete the booth activities.  For more information, call Eli at 797-2580 or visit the event website at https://extension.usu.edu/waterquality/htm/annual-events/briverceleb/.
